WHAT I DO WHEN I CAN’T WRITE

I’ve been trying to get started on the second book in The Uist Girl Series, but I can’t seem to get going. So what have I done instead? I took a short course about how to use TikTok which was run by The Self Publishing Formula. They say it has become one of the best social media platforms for selling books. I was a bit sceptical and didn’t see how it could work for me when most of the video posts are of young people dancing about, pouting or being very creative. However, I decided to have a go and must confess I have become a little obsessed. If you would like to have a laugh, click on the TikTok icon above and you’ll see the videos I’ve created so far. It might only be a coincidence, but I’ve sold a couple of books this week.
