THE END

The sweetest words for an author to type are ‘The End’ and I am delighted to let you know that this is the end of my Lego Typewriter Tales as the project is now complete. What do you think? I’m pleased with the finished product but I must say it has been a challenge and I don’t think I’ll be embarking on another any time soon. In its favour, I will say that it is a very mindful pastime as you really need to concentrate. You also need to have nimble fingers to handle some very small parts and you need the patience of a saint when you realise you’ve made a mistake and need to dismantle all your good work. Although it has a ribbon, the keys move and there is a carriage return it does not type. The piece of paper I put in is a fake as I typed it on my computer but it looks good don’t you think? I hope you have enjoyed my Lego journey and would like to thank those of you who took the time to like or make a comment. I really do appreciate it. I’m not sure what my next blog subject will be yet but I am hoping to begin the second book in my Uist Girl Series in the new year, so it might be about my progress with that.
I wish you all a very peaceful, healthy and happy Christmas and hope that you will be able to get together with your family and friends. Although we are not back in lockdown, there are further restrictions on socialising so do take care. You may remember my husband Charlie caught Covid last Christmas and we spent the beginning of 2021 in isolation. Here’s to a better start for 2022. All the best when it comes.
