Sorry for the delay in updating you on progress with my Lego typewriter. We had family over from Sweden and then I had to get my book ready for publication, so it has been all go. I left the Lego in its box for a few weeks but went back to it last week and have made some progress. See the latest picture.

However, I must confess, I almost gave up and threw it at the wall a couple of time. The first was when I tried to put two of the sections together and the whole thing collapsed. The second was when I had completed bag six and it still wasn’t fitting together correctly and the only thing I could think was wrong, was the original section. So I went back to the beginning, dismantled it and found out the culprit was this small grommet.

Although the instructions told me to insert it, when I did I noticed it threw one side off, so I removed it and hallelujah it worked. Who would have thought such a small thing could have such a large impact. I only have five more bags to go so am hoping all will go well. I’ll keep you posted.
