The missing leg
Where I am now
You’ll remember from my last post that I wasn’t sure whether I would dismantle what I had done so far as it was a bit lopsided. In the end, I did, as I had missed one of the legs and when I tried to take it back to that point in the assembly, the sides fell off and I couldn’t fit them in again without starting over. I was quite philosophical about it though, as I thought it was a bit like editing. When you go through your first draft, there are always lots of deletions and starting overs. Actually, because I knew what I was doing by that point, I could re-assemble it quite quickly. I have now completed bags 1, 2 and 3 and have begun bag 4. I also now tick each stage so that I don’t miss anything again! I’ve put in a picture of where I am now. What do you think? Impressed? Let me know.

PPS We are having family visiting from Sweden next week so I may have nothing to report on my Lego, but I hope to have an announcement about my new book, so look out for that.
