Making a start with No 2 bags
Not looking good
So, I finished the four number 1 packets (See first photo) and was feeling good. You may know that there are two types of writers – a Pantser and a Plotter. I’m a Pantser. I don’t plot or plan anything before I write. I just have an idea and begin typing and wait to see what happens. A Plotter, on the other hand, needs to write a detailed outline before they write. Now with Lego there is a detailed outline of how to build the object under construction, so I wondered how I would get on. Would I have the patience? But to my surprise and delight, I found myself enjoying it. It was mindful as I needed to pay close attention to the instructions (which incidentally I think could be clearer). Perhaps it might make me a different writer, I thought. That was before I started on the number 2 packets. This involved joining the pieces I had created from number 1 packets to the pieces I had to make up from the number 2 packets. (See second photo) It’s not going well. (See third photo) It’s looking a little lopsided, don’t you think? I’ll let you know if I dismantle it or keep going and how it looks when I’ve completed this section. Wish me luck!
